San Antonio College students' network for the 2008 election

In 2002, MTV conducted a campaign with the Kaiser Family Foundation to find why the voter turnout among Americans from 18-24 has consistently declined 18% from 1972 – 1996. They found many different reasons why the youth of America has decided not to vote. Some of them being: Politicians are out of touch, they do not feel informed, and politicians have no scruples.

Even though many young Americans think that they are rebellion against the system when they choose not to vote, it is actually the opposite. When you choose not to vote, you leave it up to the rest of the country to decide what will affect your life. This article shows what a sad and apathetic state of mind the youth of America is in.

The summary at the top is very good, and I like how you wrote, "consistently declined 18% from 1972 – 1996." It was cool that you were able to come up with this statistic while remembering the other one. Also, I like how you used new words to describe the decisions of young youths. I also like your analysis section; it was a good length.
