- About Me:
- I have taught English for more than 15 years--Southside High School (1), Gus Garcia Junior High (4), and San Antonio College (11). My own children have asked me "Why do you like to teach?" My response is always quick: I love being in an institution where learning takes place and having a role to play in it. If I weren't teaching English, I would probably teach Sociology or Science. I wouldn't want to teach anywhere but at San Antonio College. My colleagues and students keep me on my toes! But, away from work, I enjoy tennis--although I don't have much time on the court.
