McCain-Palin on Sexual Education

Various issues arise with each presidential election. Even though, some may seem more important than others; they are all just as relevant to improving the status and health of our nation. Individually we have our own opinions on the issues, but when choosing a side, or making a decision on where we stand, it is most important to be properly informed. One issue I feel is of highly importance in our society is sexual education. To some it may not seem as prominent an issue as others: such as, abo… Continue

Abortion and John McCain’s Stance on the Issue

I. Background on issue of abortion

There is a long and complicated history that goes along with this controversial topic. This has not been just a recent controversial phenomenon; it’s been around for almost two centuries in varying degrees. Abortion and McCain

Those who are pro-choice and believe a woman should be allowed to have an abortion if she wants too. Also, there are those who are pro-life and believe that abortion is only acceptable to save the woman’s life, incest, or rape and in some cases believe that abortion is not acceptable for any reason. Finally, there are those are don’t know what th… Continue

McCain War in Iraq

War in Iraq

The United States invaded Iraq in March of 2003, the purpose was operation Iraqi freedom, was to over throw the well known dictator Saddam Hussein. And also to find any weapons of mass destruction that Iraq may have had. After Saddam’s dictatorship had come to a abrupt end, and the search for weapons of mass destruction came to a halt, many Americans believed that the War in Iraq was soon to be over. But nearly five years later soldiers still patrol the hot dusty roads in all parts… Continue
