What really matters in this election?
As we all know this election 2008 is coming to an end and we have to vote an as the US citizens decide on who they want to vote to become our new president for the United States. The voters can’t just vote for anybody but they should make sure to themselves that the person on which they are voting is the one that they will really see a change here in the United States.
As I was looking for someone on who to interview my brother was by my side with me walking around during our breaks. Until we both stop and think rapidly my brother asked me “why don’t you interview me to make it easier for you?” So I did accept and he became my interview person. It was really fun working with him and also I felt like more construable and free to ask him question. These is a little background of himself he is a freshman at SAC and his is 19 years. He is around 5’6 and also he is a really nice guy I like spending time with him he is really intelligent and also have a good way of thinking also very positive. As we were still talking my first question was to ask him what was his main issue or concern in this election 2008. So he respond me that for him was the economy would it go higher or lower. And basically it is a main issue for a lot of people in here they have major problems with economy that it really just drawing there life’s with the point on where they don’t have any money at all. A lot of people are concern at that because there have been a lot of things happening on these days that you just don’t feel secure about yourself and you just don’t know what it will happen next with your life. Would you have money for your bills for your health care and other important things. Going back to by brothers question as I have said he have responded me that his main issue was the economy I ask him why?
His answer was that he is really scare that one of these days he could lose his job as we have seen on TV news there are a lot of places that are going on bankrupt because of this big crisis that we are on in here at the United States. We have been running to different situations on were people are staying with no job because there is not sufficient money to be paying a lot of people. This was his answer.
So I asked him “how do you think this main crisis can affect you?
He responded “ as you know right now I don’t have a secure job some days I work and some days I don’t it is on weather on my boss having work or not”
Well my brother works as a painter he paints apartments, offices, houses and so on. My two brothers work in the same place with the same owner but the older have a bigger percentage in staying with the job than Erick. This is why Erick is scare he doesn’t know what it will happen as my oldest brother have more time working there the owner wants to keep him but not Erick. The owner just wants to cut down employees because every day the work is becoming less and there is no work so why would the owner want to keep paying a salary to employees that are not working right know. During my research I have found that there is information on Texas Economic Review on September 2008 “Texas Economy continues to gain jobs while nation’s economy is losing them, Texas nonfarm employment rose 2.3 percent from August 2007 to August 2008.Thes explain that they have been earning jobs but at the same time losing jobs. As I have explain there are a lot of things on where people could be scare because they are about to lose their jobs as I kept asking question to my brother I have asked him.
What are things that you count with the money that you get pay with?
He replied” I have to pay bill help my mom pay thing bills, also pay for personal things”. And well this could be a longer line!!
Well I do understand him because we both live in the same house I know what the things that he buy are and also on the things that he uses his money on. I don’t know why but I think is very hard more for men’s for them not to have a work since they are the ones that have the responsibility to maintain a family a so on. As they grew up and get married there are the ones that have to support the family and the ones that have the biggest responsibilities as been the men of the house. Sometimes I just feel sorry for him because they are times were I see him so frustrated on his payments that he do sent know what to do. As him is even harder because he is a part time worker and also a part time student wit it makes it difficult even more.
I really hope to get a president on which we will be sure on our work and also on things that a lot of people are in a case of need on these days. I hope that our new president think of those people that really need help and for him to help them find a solution to their problems and find a new way on hoe they could get better. I really believe that it will be a change on were we could be sure at all time with our economy. Also like everybody we all hope to this crisis comes to an end or in other words just pass by fast.

I am really proud of myself and on my essay. It might not be th ebest essay but i reall worked on it i had personal problems that didnt let me work on it but i am finally finish. i hope to get a good grade and also i hope for students that read it to loke it. I really think that i did need a lot of more information but i just did as short and informative i could i hope for the readers to understand it. I really try my best in these essay i gave all my hard work. in my opinion i did like this essay and also as a lot of people i hope to our new president really have a chance to help those people that really need the help. And also have a change here in the United States.

And as you i also hope that our new president focuses on those hard working individuals that
live day by day of their lifes trying to make a better future for their familys.

Your frustration is shared by millions of Americans who have difficulty paying their bills, let alone planning for their future retirement or children's college education. Let us hope that the new President will address these important issues soon and successfully.
