Election 2008
For my paper on the election 2008 I interviewed my friend, Amber
Williamson.
She is 21 years old and both me and her work at academy as sales
associates.
What we do is clean up after people that cannot put the clothes that they
try on away.
We also do other things but that is mainly what we do.
We also find the
clothes in the dressing room thrown all over the floor.
It’s like people think they are
at home.
Anyways I interviewed her in the brake room that is so freezing cold it feels like winter when you walk in there.
Well as we were sitting down on the old wobbly chairs I asked her what mattered most to her on the election.
Amber says; “I am worried about our security and how our money is going to be handled”.
She is afraid of being in a great depression state again.
I know it is not very much that amber can explain, but for people now days a lot of things do not matter when it is not happening to them.
Amber wants to be able to trust our government.
One of the chief threats to the global economy is that banks and other financial institutions are hoarding cash, which makes it harder for businesses and households to finance their day-to-day affairs. Lower interest rates reduce the cost of borrowing for banks, businesses and households, and potentially boost confidence. But it's far from clear whether the lower rates will make banks and other lenders, which are gripped by fears of defaults by borrowers, any more willing to lend.

Like for example whatever they tell us they are going to do to make this world better, “I want to see it happen or also whoever wins the election I want to know that they are going to make the right decision on things”; Says Amber.
Basically what is important to her is trusting that our world is going to be ok with the money situation, and that it is going to be spent on good things that we are going to need to live off of.
I know now with people and businesses being in dept with money, it worries all of us because that is what we need to manage throughout life.
She is just thinking about the food, the health insurance, school loans, gas prices, and stuff.
I guess amber sees all the different things that can happen and she worries about all that.
The people I interviewed were not really sure about what was going on with this situation, neither was amber.
So that’s why I think she just talked about things around us she knows can affect the way we live and affect our future.
I know what she thought was not one big issue but she was just talking about a lot of little things she is worried about.
So I just tried to talk about everything she said.
If I would have done more research, I could have put down more information, but I just went off of what amber said because it was supposed to be based on the issues the person had that we interviewed.
